The EGPS sensor (EXHAUST GAS PRESSURE SENSOR) is found in Diesel Particulate Filter Systems with additive (FAP) and with no additive (DPF).
When the Particulate Filter is saturated, the EGPS monitors the level of saturation by measuring the pressure difference before and after the filter.
