feeds<\/p><p>that voltage signal back to the engine\u00a0<b>ECU<\/b>, in order to control engine conditions and effectively reduce emissions.<br \/><b>Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensors (EGTS)<\/b>\u00a0are located:<\/p><ul><li><b>T3<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 before the Turbocharger\u00a0<b>(TBC)<\/b>.<\/li><li><b>T4<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 after the assistance of the different\u00a0<b>EGTS<\/b>\u00a0signals, the exhaust gas treatment devices can operate in their optimal conditions and their functionalities are constantly verified (<b>OBD \u2013 On-Board Diagnostics<\/b>).<br \/>For instance:<\/p><ul><li>The Temperature Probes before and after the Turbocharger are used to verify whether a temperature decrease (approx. 150\u00b0C) occurred.<\/li><li>The\u00a0<b>DOC<\/b>\u00a0and the\u00a0<b>SRC<\/b>\u00a0need to achieve a minimum operation temperature, respectively 140\u00b0C and 190\u00b0C.<\/li><li>The temperatures before the turbocharger, after the\u00a0<b>DPF<\/b>\u00a0and in the\u00a0<b>DOC<\/b>\u00a0are also monitored in order to avoid overheating of these components.<\/li><li>The performances of the temperatures after and before the\u00a0<b>DPF<\/b>\u00a0(together with the Differential Pressure Sensor\u2019s signal) are used to verify a successful regeneration of that component.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0a93a45 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"0a93a45\"
