Estos sensores se constituyen de una capsula o soporte, donde se arma el elemento NTC (1).<br \/>Como se muestra em la (2), la principal caracteristica del termistor (NTC, del ingl\u00e9s: Negative Temperature Coefficient, o coeficiente negativo de temperatura) es la de presentar una variaci\u00f3n acentuada de su resist\u00e9ncia el\u00e9ctrica con relaci\u00f3n a la temperatura a cual est\u00e1 sometido.<\/p><p><strong>aumento de la temperatura reduci\u00f3n de la resist\u00eanciar reduci\u00f3n de la de temperatura aumento de la resist\u00eanciar<\/strong><\/p><p>El armado del sensor depende de la aplicaci\u00f3n por lo cual se destina. Em aquellos utilizados para la medici\u00f3n de la temperatura del motor, el elemento NTC se queda alojado dentro de una capsula de protecci\u00f3n, que lo aisla del liquido de enfriamiento.<br \/><strong>Importante:<\/strong>\u00a0Algunos modelos de veh\u00edculos utilizam un Sensor de Temperatura junto con un Interruptor Termico, llamado DUPLEX. Este sensor, adem\u00e1s de informar el exceso de temperatura al tablero a trav\u00e9s de la aguja, tambi\u00e9n acciona una alarma o uma l\u00e1mpara para informar el exceso de temperatura. (vea m\u00e1s informaciones en el capitulo del Interruptor Termico).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2d91f5a elementor-widget termost\u00e1tica, en el bloque del motor o en la base del colector de admisi\u00f3n, cuando por esta circula el liquido de enfriamiento (motores a temperatura del motor es utilizado para:<\/p><p>\u2022 Indicar a trav\u00e9s de la aguja, el valor de la temperatura del liquido del motor en grados Celcius.<br \/>\u2022 Accionar la inyecci\u00f3n de gasolina en la partida en fr\u00edo, de los veh\u00edculos a alcohol.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7c71036 elementor-widget data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul><li><p>Para estos sensores hay tres tipos de falla:<\/p><ol><li>El sensor envia la informaci\u00f3n errada, dentro de la faja de trabajo.<\/li><li>El sensor envia la informaci\u00f3n errada fuera de la faja de trabajo (sensor en corto o abierto).<\/li><li>La informaci\u00f3n es errada (corto o abierto) para ciertas temperaturas (falla intermitente).<\/li><\/ol><p>En todos los casos, el diagn\u00f3stico puede ser realizado utilizando un equipo de test: el
